Lalo Workshop is zero-waste, ethically made garments with an equal emphasis on design, comfort and utility.
I source most of my fabrics from design house ends. This commonly means past season high quality fabrics that are discarded and deemed unusable. Obtaining fabrics in this way results in limited quantities and one of a kind garments. The challenge of designing within these restraints really pushes the creative process and supports my personal philosophy of sustainable and ethical practices.
At a time when fast fashion, wasteful consumption and short-term trends are the norm, I am a proponent of Slow Fashion, a sustainable movement that values well-made garments with a timeless design. These environmentally conscious principles guide my production, where the end result is an intentional, utilitarian and sophisticated garment with a minimal and modern aesthetic.
